Roony Bardghji Set to Join Barcelona After Final Step in Transfer Process

Roony Bardghji, the talented 19-year-old winger from Copenhagen, is on the cusp of completing a transfer to FC Barcelona for a fee of €2 million. The highly anticipated deal is expected to be finalized in the coming days, with only a medical exam remaining before the move is official.

Copenhagen’s sporting director, Peter Christiansen Smith-Nielsen, confirmed the ongoing negotiations, stating that talks with Barcelona have reached an advanced stage. “We have received a very attractive offer from Barcelona for Bardghji. We are currently in discussions with Roony and his representatives to finalize all agreements,” he said in an interview with 365Scores Journalist Ahmed Abdelaal.

Bardghji, whose contract with Copenhagen expires in December, has already given his personal approval to join the La Liga giants. With the deal nearly sealed, the young winger is expected to join Barcelona’s pre-season training under head coach Hansi Flick at the Spotify Camp Nou.

The transfer has been in the works for over a year, with Barcelona keeping a close eye on Bardghji’s development. Born in Kuwait and of Syrian descent, the winger has shown immense promise, and his move to Barcelona is seen as a key part of the club’s future plans.
